Feng Shui for Pregnancy

What is Feng Shui for Pregnancy?

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese art and science that has been around for thousands of years. It is based on the belief that energy flows through the universe and that certain areas of your home or office are better suited to certain types of people.

Feng shui can help you create a positive environment for yourself and your family. Specifically, we are going to be looking at how you can harness the power of Feng Shui for Pregnancy

For example, many Feng Shui masters believe by placing certain symbols around the bedroom and house, you can attract positive energy into your space. It is this positive energy that helps to provide balance in your energies and improve your chances of pregnancy.

The lineage of Feng Shui I practice (San Yuen Yuen Gua Lineage) takes a holistic approach to Feng Shui and Pregnancy. It is based on the fundamental principles that you need to align all your Feng Shui energy around the house (not just the bedroom), in order to have optimal chances of falling pregnant.

Therefore, it is important to understand, you can take all the steps to improve your energy within the bedroom.  However, if your overall energy is off in the rest of the house, you may not achieve the desired results – to conceive a baby.

A common question many couples trying to conceive ask is “How can they apply feng shui for getting pregnant?

There are a few behavioral changes and actions you can change to optimize your energy straight away. These include:

1) Bed placement is a key component in Feng Shui and pregnancy. Firstly, you need to keep it clear of any obstacles that may disrupt the flow of energy around and under the bed.  You also need to ensure the bed is placed in a position that resonates with your personal Feng Shui sectors.

2) Stove position and water exit points within your house and kitchen can also impact your ability to conceive.

3) The best time to try to conceive is when the full moon coincides with the optimal time in your menstrual cycle.

It is important to note, as I explained earlier, the tips I will be listing below are good to help you achieve positive energies in specific areas, like the bedroom, but it is equally important to ensure your overall Feng Shui health is also looked at elsewhere in your house and family.

Why couples are Struggling to Conceive – a Feng Shui explanation.

To help you understand the concepts behind Feng Shui and Pregnancy, I would like to explain the reasoning using Feng Shui principles.

Over my years of consulting as a master, I have observed an increased demand for Feng Shui fertility consultations with couples living in built-up cities.  And from these consults I have observed a correlation between the fertility issues and the incoming mountain ranges. According to traditional feng shui, these mountain ranges are also known as the Incoming Mountain Dragon.

In classical Feng Shui, mountain or incoming dragon represents people’s health and reproduction. And on the opposite end to the mountain dragon, is the incoming water or water dragon, which represents wealth and career direction.

Traditional Feng Shui principles require that to receive positive energy for health purposes, a home or building should intersect with the Incoming Mountain Dragon. This is also applicable to incoming water flows as well.

In Tian Yu Jin (a classical feng shui book) reads:

“The Mountain Dragon must harmonize with the Facing and the Facing must harmonize with the water. Water harmonizes with the three auspicious areas.”

So when a house intersects with the incoming dragon correctly, it is much easier to get pregnant and have good quality offspring.

However, the problem is nowadays, city buildings and urban housing are not designed with this in mind. They rarely intersect with the Incoming Mountain Dragon, which has had a detrimental impact on many couple’s ability to procreate.
