2026 Year of Yang Fire Horse – Heaven Luck
INTRODUCTION
When comes to yearly forecasts, many Chinese astrology Masters use the Start-of-Spring (aka Lichun) day and time to construct a Bazi or Four Pillars Chart, then use this chart to predict the coming year’s events. Some other Masters use Qi Men Dun Jia (QMDJ), ZiweiDouShu or I-Ching divination to forecast….
Different Masters use different methods to predict or forecasts for the coming year. They may draw the similar results. This is call metaphysics.
I was taught to use the sexagenary cycle or JiaZi (甲子) cycle also known as the Stems-and-Branches system or Farmer Calendar. It is a cycle of sixty years or terms used for telling time, year, month, day and hour. It uses the sun cycle as well.
There are three layers to look into yearly predictions. They are the:
1. Heaven Luck,
2. Earth Luck (or Feng Shui energy around our environment) and
3. Man luck (Animal Sign Luck for each of us)
To do so, the elements of the Heavenly Stem (HS) and Earthly Branch (EB) of the year are used for predictions.
The HS and EB elements indicate the issues when too strong or too weak relate to these elements, good or bad in the coming year.
Yearly predictions can be useful information for someone to make informed decisions. However, honestly speaking, there is no 100% accuracy.
Year of the 2026, in JiaZi cycle, it is the year of Bing(丙) Wu(午).
Bing (丙) is Yang Fire and Wu(午) is Horse, short for Fire Horse year.
The Last Fire Horse year was in 1966, 60 years ago.
The year of the Yang Fire Horse starts at 0402 on the 4th February 2026.
In general, the Heaven energy for Heaven luck forecasts surfaces from the winter solstice, Normally falls on the 22nd of December, or Summer solstice in the South hemisphere.
I normally post this article before 22nd December each year.
